it's so nice to write to you, it should be almost 7 days now since you last heard from me. I see this as a golden opportunity to share my views with you again and I do not take it for granted, Thank you for letting me into your personal space, So how are you ?
Today we would be talking about A Daring Ally. As you might have known this newsletter focuses on enterprenureship growth and mental health awareness, so we try to explain certain concepts on how they related and benefit your enterprenual/creative journey.
We live in times where loyalty is not a popular word and loyal persons are hard to find.
Loyalty is not a popular concepts amongst Nigerians but that doesn't mean we do not have people who have reaped the goods of been part of a loyal relationship. I believe humans are naturally selfish, no matter how hard we try to be selfless there's always going to be an atom of selfishness in us but the power to tame this little beast is what makes us true humans. I talked about this and love extensively on the last episode of The Junction Podcast.
Loyalty is the paramount quality of a true ally. An ally is one that is associated with another as an helper or a person/group that provides assistance and support in an ongoing effort, activity or struggle.
In our everyday struggle of building good and sustainable business as enterprenures or creatives, we need the loyalty and help of an ally.An ally sticks through tick and thin. An ally stays with you not because of personal gains but because he/she believes in the struggle and in you yourself. An ally is relentless he/she to stabilize the ever buzzing minds of a creative.
To what end can a loyal ally influence your success ?,
Let's X-ray the relationship between the Newly elected governor of Osun State and his niece Davido. Ademola Adeleke has competed to be elected governor of Osun State twice , on both occasion he engaged the support of his niece Davido, but the relentless effort and support was hugely felt recently which lead to Ademola Adeleke wining the elections. Davido as we all know is a world wide recognized celebrity that's highly respected and sort after but he was so selfless in his support of his uncle's ambition. He went all and out , up and above and did all that there was to be done to ensure his Preferred candidate won the elections. He faced challenges and setbacks , he canceled bookings and shows just to be actively involved in the campaign process and this all yielded a beautiful success.
We all need a type of Davido in our cycle, he epitome's the direct qualities of a daring ally.
A Daring ally stands no matter the circumstances. Creativity is hard so we all need a support system. When we talk about support system, people like Davido are those we are referring to they should be held tightly.
No matter how bad our cycle might be, there's someone like this there in, Find them and hold them. Selflessness and Loyalty wins the ally game. If we want the population of daring ally's to grow that just means each and every one of us has to become a Daring ally too. As people are pillars in our lives we also need to reciprocate and also become pillars in other people's life to.
A Daring ally is a good friend, one that follows through to the end of the way.
